About the collection

In 1877 Ilia Chavchavadze published a progressive political-literary periodical newspaper “Iveria, It was the main center of public, spiritual and intellectual life of Georgia’s for three decades. Until 1902, the newspaper was edited by Ilia Chavchavadze.
